JJ answers questions from fans
Q: What is your favorite road city to play in? What do you do while on the road?
JJ: My favorite city to play in is New York City. Madison Square Garden is a special place for me. I’ve had a lot of memorable moments in that building and there’s always a buzz in the air in that place. When I’m on the road I read a lot and I watch a lot of movies- either in the room or I’ll go to the movies with a teammate.
Q: If a movie were to be made about you who would play you, what would it be called, and what would the theme song be?
JJ: If a movie were made about me I would want it to be an action thriller about a young man who gets caught in the middle of a war between huge alien robots and mankind. The movie would be called Transformers and I would want Shia Laebouf to play me. The theme song would be What I’ve Done by Linking Park…No seriously, I would want Justin Timberlake to play me, the movie would be called Ballin’, and the theme song would be- u guessed it- We Fly High by Jim Jones.
Q: If you could go back in history to ask someone a question who would it be and what would you ask them?
JJ: This is a tough question. I don’t really have a good answer. Being a history guy I guess I would ask Robert E. Lee a question. Not sure what I would say though. On a separate note, I want to know who killed Biggie and Tupac. If someone has the answer to that I’d be thrilled.
Q: What is the best christmas present you ever got?
JJ: The best Christmas present I ever got was this past Christmas. My grandfather was a bomber pilot in World War II. He flew over thirty missions. My mom put together a frame with a picture of him in uniform and to the right of the picture are all of his actual medals from the war. It sometimes is amazing to think how we all got here. Because he survived the war I am here today. Needless to say, I cried when she gave it to me.
