Q: Hey JJ, big fan of you and of Duke basketball here. I’ve got a question, knowing Greg Paulus like you do, what are your thoughts on his move from the basketball court to the football field? Will his time at Duke translate to success at Syracuse? Thanks!
JJ: I wish Greg nothing but success on the football field. Although we only played one year together at Duke, Greg and I have remained friends for the past three years and text each other from time to time. I know his experiences at Duke will help him because he has been in almost every possible circumstance and the majority of the time he delivered.

Q: College Basketball or NBA... whos got the better fans?
JJ: With no disrespect to our Orlando Magic fans (who were absolutely fantastic in the playoffs last year), I’d have to say from my experience that overall college basketball fans are louder and more passionate. And let’s be honest here, Duke fans are the BEST fans in the world.

Q: Still a gamer these days? Any games you’ve gotten into recently?
JJ: I don’t really play video games anymore.

I was wondering, why didi you choose to become a professional athlete? What do you do on a day to day basis? Was college beneficial for you basketball-wise and education-wise? Please answer back. This is for a school project that’s due Oct. 7, 2009. Thnx.

Being one of the best Duke players, did you ever experience the Speedo Guy at any of your games? What’s your take on him?

I didn’t get to see the highlights but Paulus had 346 yards the other day. Pretty impressive.

How was it guarding Kobe Bryant and Ray Allen during last season’s playoffs? Did you learn anything about yourself?
