Q: What kind of golf clubs do you play with and what are your favorite courses you have played before?
A: My irons and woods are Callaway. My driver and putter are Taylor Made. All of my gear is Nike. I’ve found that any course called “Ocean Course” is usually pretty solid. I’ve played the Ocean Course down in the Bahamas and in Palm Coast, FL. They were both great. Bay Hill in Orlando is pretty cool as well. But I’m most fond of my home track in my neighborhood. This summer I’m gonna try and play some new courses.
Q: What type of shoes did you wear in college and what kind do you wear right now?
A: I wore Nike shoes in college and I wear Nike shoes now. I have no idea the specific names of the shoes that I’ve worn. I just wear different shoes till I find a style I like and then stick with that.

I was reading some of the comments from a few weeks ago regarding the type of shoes you wore in college. Funny how people say that women only care about shoes, HA HA. There were guys on here that knew every shoe you ever wore. I find that very amusing. Who cares what shoes you were wearing. It wasn’t the shoes that made you awesome.

How many shots do you shot when you are practicing your shot?
Ryan Wood | on 14/3/08
I’ll be praying for your brother JJ, and you. I hope everything goes well. When in doubt, reflect back to “Into the Wild,” the scene in which Chris McCandless is conversing with his elderly friend on the hill top toward the end if the film.
P.S. I’m starting to dislike Ron Jeremy. Please tell him to give you some time on the court (you average 28 ppg in NBA 2k7 for me)
God bless,
Rye

Hey JJ..
David is far too young to be going through what he is and the lord will watch over him. I am very hopeful that your brother will make a quick recovery.
Unfortunately, life throws us many curveballs… the curveballs are stepping stones to help us build strength and faith.
Please keep us posted on David’s health & recovery. If I can do anything to help I would. Keep praying and stay positive. I will continue to pray for your family & David.
:-) Stephanie

JJ,
I know the magic are doing well and that’s great, but I can’t wait until you can get out of there and geta chance in this league. I seem to remember a game back in your senior year vs Georgetown and I believe you scored 44 points against them and I believe you scored them on Jeff Green that is currently starting for Seattle right know, you should be playing ever night, not only that but starting. They say your not a great defender, but who in the NBA is, there isn’t much defense in the damn league period.

What? No Scotty Cameron putters?
My brother-in-law thinks he’s the white Tiger Woods.
Anyway, David and your family are in my prayers.

I liked your Nike Lebron III’s your senior year, I also like your Nike Zoom BB’s this year. Hope your brother does and is doing well. Good Luck JJ.
David | on 10/3/08
Correct me if Im wrong:
You wor Lebron 3’s for the last half of your senior year, Nike Shox Elevate, Nike Shox Lethal, Jordan’s, and Nike Enforcer’s..I cant remember the ones your wearing now, but their awesome..I remember all of that because that was probably the best times Ive ever had in my life..Watching you and Duke play with such heart and determination reminded me why I loved Duke, and college basketball altogether..And your the man no matter what, so I have to wear what you’ve got..Your like Jordan to me..BIG comparison, but watching you take Duke to great heights refueled the fire inside of me and reminded me why I loved Duke and college basketball so much. Ive been a Duke fan since I was 9, and Im 23 now, so Ive been there through the good and bad of everything. Thanks so much for your heart, hard work, and strong determination to succeed in life, not just basketball. Your a huge role model for me, and millions of people. And I also wanted to say again, I wish your brother the very best in a speedy recovery. Him and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. One Love.

You wore navy blue, Lebron 3’s your senior year, well, the last half of it I think.. You’ve worn Nike Shox Elevate, Nike Shox Lethal, and even Jordan’s for a few games. In the pros you’ve worn Nike Enforcer’s in white/royal, and also in black/white..I usually wear the shoes you wear..Your the man, so I gotta go with the best!! =) Ive always worn Nike shoes because their the most comfortable, thats just my opinion..Id love to learn how to play golf, but there’s only 1 course in southern WV, and its packed most of the time..Anyways, my prayers are with you and your brother! And I wish him the best and a speedy recovery! One Love.
