Unfortunately, our season came to end tonight. We had a special team this year and a great group of guys. Our team worked hard all year long and we probably exceeded outside expectations. However, we all felt we were capable of winning a championship so the finality of tonight is heartbreaking. It was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of this year’s Orlando Magic. I’ll check in with you guys in a couple days to let you know about my offseason. Hope all is well!
“But those that trust in the Lord will find new strength
They will rise high on wings like eagles
They will run and not grow weary
They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

You for Ray Allen in a trade this offseason. Continue the tradition of basketball greatness. The Duke Blue Devils and the Boston Celtics. #4 and #7 have’nt been raised to the rafters yet. We need some Duke representation in Boston. I was pissed when the Celts didn’t draft you. Kermit the Frog once said “it ain’t easy being green”...well Kermit didn’t play with Kevin Garnet and Paul Pierce. You would be a great fit here in Boston. Have a happy and healty off season. Go Duke and Go Celts!

Go Duke!!! I hope to see you play more next year

awesome to see you are drawing on God for strength. you are going to have a great testimony and a stronger relationship with Him by drawing near to Him. Keep at it and remember what’s real!

Stay in O-Town man, hopefully next season you will start for the Magic and finish what we started this year. If you dont get decent play time before the trade deadline next season then request a trade to Phoenix or Golden State, where your exciting style of play would be appreciated. I still believe Orlando is a great fit for you just the coach isn’t. Why ios Billy Donovan a doushe?

JJ come to NY. I’ve been watching you too long to see you on the bench all the time. Plus you play great in MSG. Trust me you can’t do any worse than what we have now.
Jeff | on 16/5/08
JJ and the Pacers!! That would be awesome!! (Yeah, I’m a Hoosier!) The best part would be I could watch some in-state basketball and NOT have to have the Big Ten Network to do it!! lol

JJ please stay…. you have to hear us go wild everytime you come in, (by us I mean the crowd)... We love you here in Orlando… I have talked to so many people during the playoffs at halftime and stuff and everyone I have ever talked to has nothing but love for you… I know it’s hot, and the hurricane season sucks… but all in all it’s been a great time so far… so please stay, you are part of our future… BLUE & WHITE: IGNITE

J.J. just like fellow Duke alum Mike Dunleavy Jr. you need a breath of fresh air, and the place to do that is INDIANAPOLIS with the PACERS!!!
Call Larry Bird now!
FYI: Jim O’Brien loves 3-Pointers, and if you forgot, you love to shoot em’ !

JJ, come to the KNICKS! Run in the D’antoni offense with your lights out shooting from the wings. We need you and everyone loves you in this area…and we all know you love MSG. A kid like you can really get the Garden going again.

You guys had a great season. And the verse is one of my favorites very encouraging. Thanks for sharing.
Jeff | on 14/5/08
Lots of chances to win a couple of games in this last series. The potential is there for the team. They just need a little more faith and self-discipline to get them over the hump. Things look encourabing for next season…especially if you get some more play time!!

JJ man youre crazy, but you need more playing time. If you do “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.” One of these days youll be a nba star

Hi JJ,
I’m sorry you guys lost, I love Isaiah 40:31 that is a GREAT verse..
Breanna | on 14/5/08
That is my favorite verse in the bible. And i believe every word of it. Only thing to do now is get ready for the new season.
CarolAnn | on 14/5/08
JJ sorry you guys lost! Now PUHLEEEZE make your next phone call to Arn’s office and get them started on ngetting you out of the Magic and INTO THE KNICKS!
Mike D is a perfect coach for your talents, plus you are #1 at MSGarden. Gosh I sure hope that you can/would like to play there and help rebuild that team. They are going to make a major push to get Lebron and what team you would be
Love ya and Good luck!

it sucks i was watching the game if only they put you in they would have won. hope you have a great summer.

I brought your jersey tonight and kept it stashed in my purse under my seat the entire game. I was going to have you sign it but turns out I was directly next to the Pistons locker room and not yours… Anyway, I won’t say I didn’t cringe a little over your guys’ heckling. It sucks because Magic has always been my 2nd favorite team. (Remember NBA Jam!? I was always on the Magic’s team!) Good luck next season and I still think Magic and Pistons should merge to form a sort of super-team…mention it to Stan.
