Q and A with JJ
Q: How do you feel about Johnny Dawkins leaving Duke to be the head coach at Stanford, and what impact will it have on Duke?
A: I am extremely excited for Coach Dawkins. He definitely deserves
a shot to be a head coach for a big-time college basketball program.
I think people underestimate the impact his departure will have on the
Duke program. JD has always been a steady, calm voice on the Duke
bench. His poise, maturity, and basketball knowledge were always a
huge asset for us. I wish him the best but he will be missed at Duke!
Q: What are your thoughts on this upcoming NBA draft? What players not named Rose/Beasly are you impressed with?
A: I’ll be keeping a close eye on this year’s draft. It’s a very
deep draft from picks 1-20 and the top five or six players in this
draft will all be great NBA players. The player that I really like is
Joe Alexander from West Virginia. Even though his team beat Duke this
year, I really enjoy his game.
Q: Who were you rooting for in the NBA finals and why?
A: I don’t root for other teams. I was rooting for the Orlando Magic
to win the NBA championship.

i agree coach dawkins will do really good as a head coach. i love mayo hes my fav in this years draft besides rose, and i have joe going 12th on nba.com!!!!! i’m surprised that you weren’t rotting for the celtics. they have some of the most kick ass players besides yourself of course!!! hahaha… happy 24th birthday dont get to wild!!!!! :D well peace it easy and have fun. i hope you get the birthday card and letter i sent you
